Overview
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Cartful app and related services. By installing or using Cartful, you agree to these terms on behalf of the merchant account using the service.
The service
Cartful provides merchants with a premium cart experience platform for Shopify, including cart design controls, merchandising features, multi-cart targeting, and cart-specific analytics.
Cartful may update, improve, or modify the service over time, including features, user experience, and infrastructure.
Merchant responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when installing or using the app.
- Use Cartful only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with Shopify's terms and policies.
- Review cart configuration, promotions, and messaging before publishing them to a live storefront.
- Maintain responsibility for the storefront, theme, products, discounts, and any content displayed through the cart experience.
Billing and subscriptions
Cartful may offer free trials, usage-based billing, subscriptions, or promotional discounts. Billing approvals and charges may be handled through Shopify billing workflows where applicable.
Merchants are responsible for reviewing billing terms presented during installation, plan changes, or subscription approval flows.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Cartful to violate applicable laws, Shopify requirements, or third-party rights.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the operation, security, or stability of the service.
- Do not misuse Cartful's features in a way that is deceptive, abusive, or harmful to customers or merchants.
Intellectual property
Cartful and its related software, interface, branding, and content are owned by Cartful or its licensors. Installing or using the app does not transfer ownership of Cartful's intellectual property.
Termination
You may stop using Cartful at any time by uninstalling the app. Cartful may suspend or terminate access if necessary to protect the service, comply with law, or address misuse.
Uninstalling the app does not automatically erase all data immediately. Certain data may be retained for a limited period to support reinstall recovery, platform compliance, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Store deletion may occur when Cartful receives Shopify's required privacy deletion request.
Disclaimers and liability
Cartful is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We work to keep the service reliable and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cartful is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Privacy
Use of Cartful is also subject to the Cartful Privacy Policy and Data Protection page, which describe how information is processed in connection with the service.
